Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
Abel’s Bagels currently operates out of my home kitchen. I am located in Aurora, very nearby Southlands Mall.
Do you deliver?
I can! I prefer to keep my deliveries under 5 miles, which means I am primarily east of Arapahoe and Peoria, but I am happy to work out options to ensure you can get your bagels as easily as possible!
Do you make gluten-free Bagels?
While I have plans for gluten-free bagels in the future, and I am working on a recipe for them- it is not something that I offer at this time. This remains a major focus for me- but we are just not there yet!
Can you make me _____ Bagels?
I am always looking to expand my bagel list- if there is a bagel that you absolutely want, I am happy to try to make it - the bagels that I list on this page are ones that I am confident you will enjoy, but I am happy to try new things.
How do I order?
I have just recently added an order page here! Just fill it out and I will be sent an email with your request! Please be aware that at this time, Abel’s Bagels is not a full time operation, so orders may need several days lead time in order to schedule and gather ingredients.
Can I freeze your Bagels?
I recommend that Abel’s Bagels are eaten fresh, but if you can’t get through them in a short timeline they do freeze well! I recommend wrapping them individually in foil before freezing them- then when you are ready to eat you can put them, still wrapped, in a 350° oven for around 30 minutes to warm up! You will want to let them cool for a few minutes before cutting, but they will be as good as new!
Do you ship your Bagels?
If you live far enough a way that you want bagels shipped to you I am happy to do so. My bagels, however, do not contain any preservatives other than salt. I have had success in shipping bagels to the East Coast - but it is hard to predict shipping conditions in most cases. Please contact me if you want me to ship some bagels your way!
